Greatest staff. A lot of choices. Bought one new, one of their barely used rental bikes. They back them up with in store service, parts, and accessories. Why go anywhere else. Very happy. And, they know the area, and where to go at any level.

Go here! Very helpful folks. I just stopped in for some air in the tires, and they jumped right on it. Some shops would scoff and be put out by the favor, not these guys. In and out in two minutes. Sometimes the smallest favors make the biggest difference. Thanks again!

After visiting both Hutch's Bicycle Stores in Bend (the 3rd Street shop has always been great, I have been less than impressed on a couple occasions with the Westside shop) I was a little hesitant about a store here in Redmond. After finally making my first purchase today from the Redmond shop I can finally say Hutch's makes a great addition to downtown. Most of my time spent biking is commuting or with the family, so I'll be the first to admit that I am not the most knowledgeable cyclist out there. However, I have spent countless hours researching bikes and accessories over the years and I can tell you that this Hutch's store carries most of the major quality brands. To name just a few, I've seen Giant, Haro, Electra and Specialized. They also carry the same brand name accessories as all the other shops, with maybe just a little bit larger selection than most local bike shops (two walls the length of the shop). The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I did not make my decision to purchase on my first visit but rather over the course of about a week or so. Every time I went in I felt welcome and received the same level of service as I had on day one. Even when the staff knew that I wasn't going to be purchasing that day they still spent time with me, answered questions and showed me what they had. While I don't know all their names right now, I'm sure I'll learn them as time goes on as I'll definitely be back for most things I need. I've been looking for a local bike shop to support, instead of all the internet shops, and I just found the one I'll be spending my money at. While on the subject of coming back, (as of today) they offer a 30 day tune up and a yearly lifetime tune up on all their bikes. As far as I know this is about the norm in most shops. They also offered 20% off accessories the day of your bike purchase, which is higher than anywhere I've seen, and a lifetime 10% off accessories after your bike purchase, something I've never run into at other shops (unless, of course, you're friends with the owner/staff). What I like about all this is that it is in writing on the cards that are attached to each bike. That means that it is a policy for everyone and not just (as alluded to before) for friends of the owners/staff or those that ask for it. It's not a benefit that you have to negotiate for or have them toss in to sweeten the deal, its a premium provided for everyone. What more can I say? I think I've said it all; great staff, great selection, great atmosphere, great add-ons for bike purchasers.
