Horribly gross expirence. My friend and I thought we would try this after spending the day seeing some local attractions. 

Upon getting there and ordering we noticed our waitress was sick. The whole time we were there she kept coughing and wiping her runny nose with the palm of her hand. The entire time she was doing  this not once did she stop and wash her hands, she proceeded to touch ours and others plates, cups and silverware. One of the sushi makers also kept doing the same as her.  I was appalled to see him wipe his hand on his drippy nose and continue to make sushi. 😳

Needless to say three days later I am sick. And I can't help but think this cold came from there.

The worst service I've ever experienced. Didn't seem to have a set waiter the whole time, placed our order and waited 25 minutes before the girl who took our order realized she forgot to put it in, we were not checked on the whole time. I thought it was just us but saw the table seated by us waited 20 minutes before finally getting up to see if anyone was going to greet their table. Pricy for the small portions and not that great of sushi. Worst of all it was incredibly slow, I can't even imagine how it is when busy. Would never recommend.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The staff is so kind, and I would suggest anything off of there menu. It is truly a gem of the shoals. As for anybody who complains about the small children in the dining area, they are well behaved and an absolute delight, and in no way negatively influenced the dining experience.

I'm a local in the shoals this is probably The best restaurant around we go get often and every time it's top notch.

The best tempura I've ever had. Best sushi in the shoals area. Great staff. Small and cozy location.
