Accidentally booked a reservation at their other location but was quickly accommodated by the wonderful staff. Super friendly and professional, the atmosphere is wonderful and dimly lit for a cozy and romantic vibe. All the little apps they serve with the bread were delicious and the pasta dishes were great! Highly recommend stopping in for some great Italian food and laid back atmosphere for date night or a nice family meal. Don’t skip dessert!!! I think we had the best cannolis to ever be made
I came here for my birthday with my best friend and I haven’t been to this restaurant since I was like 10 years old. The food was amazing and I think the portions were fair. I ordered the Calamari, and Trinette al Pesto. My friend ordered the Integrello Al tre Fungi and Pagalia E Fieno. I got to try all three and all 3 were amazing! My favorite has to be the Pagalia E fieno. The mix of cream with cooked ham and pasta may not sound like the most appetizing combination but it was amazing . The mushrooms in the Integrello were delightful and I don’t even like mushrooms. I will say the Trinette al Pesto was great but it could have had less pesto regardless still a great choice. We ended our meal with the cream puffs that had home made whipped cream, fudge and strawberries and it was so good! The cream was my favorite part. Overall great experience here, they did not allow your water to even be halfway done and they managed the floor well. It was a full house and we were cared for throughout the whole meal. We spend a total of 3 hours eating here. We did not finish our meals because we were so full so now I have leftovers for today Even the coat check was great! Definitely recommend for a date night or birthday.
Food, Service and Atmosphere are all excellent! The place is small and intimate. The manager is hands-on, and the bartender was great. My daughter said the Pollo Romana was "the best decision of her life." I asked for Bolognese sauce on my Ravioli; of course, it was excellent. Order desert; they're all epic. Highly Recommended...
Service was EXCELLENT and the prices reasonable for a downtown NYC place. Picture an upscale cruise ship type service for multiple course meal. Even the Caesar Salad was mixed and created from scratch right in front of you. Good place for biz or family night.
Absolutely delicious dining experience with friends!! From the warm welcome from Benny and Jen at the host stand to Arta’s huge smile behind the bar…. How can you go wrong!? And then I tried the tuna tartare appetizer special… beyond delicious! The perfect blend of tuna, avocado and cucumber. I might have to go back again just for that before it leave the specials! They never hit a wrong note. Thank you so much!
Excellent...had a great soft shell crab app and the veal Milanese was delicious. The host named Jack was terrificFood: 5/5
Step into a world of timeless charm at this classic New York Italian restaurant. From the bow-tied waiters to the bustling atmosphere, every moment is steeped in nostalgia and elegance. The cuisine fulfills all expectations, with each dish bursting with flavor and crafted with the utmost care. But what truly sets this place apart is the service—friendly, knowledgeable, and brimming with old-world charm. A must-visit for anyone craving a civilized dining experience.
I reaI really enjoy the old-school feel of this restaurant. One of my favorites in Midtown. The pasta is fresh, and the desserts are on point. I have eaten here 3 times; last visit, I had the scallops. It was a great choice. My waiter was great!Food: 5/5
A wonderful evening! Reservations a must! With all the choices available in NYC, will definitely make a repeat appearance. Service was impeccable, attentive and knowledgeable. Food was served with perfect timing and hot. FLAVORS ABOUND! Enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere. Picture are "Tuna Tartare", "Burrata -housemade, stuffed, over prosciutto"special for evening, "Lamb shank osso buco with polenta"also special for evening, "Veal Saltimbocca"
Oh boy… what an experience… it was on Thanksgiving Day… November 25, 2021… Thursday… they took our jackets . we ordered spinach saltati, broccoli sauté, zuppa il tinello, pastina in brodo, mista verde con formaggio, Turkey special cost us $45.95, spaghetti al pomodoro e basilico , tea , Pellegrino, cranberry juice … the busboy was actually more polite that the waiter himself. These people claim that the place is Italian , but actually owned by Albanians . The name itself is Italian , that’s why we decided to have a thanksgiving dinner at this place. The plates were big, but very little food inside the plate and no taste. It didn’t taste like Italian food at all. I actually had to ask for some olive oil to give a taste for the soup. When we had a Turkey they only put one broccoli flower, one potato and two slices of Turkey . When it was a time to pay our check , the waiter was complaining that we gave him very little tip. And he felt no shame to say it to the customer. Overall, the whole place sucks. The food was lousy, the service was terrible . It could be better… The people who come here to eat and they think this is the way Italian food should taste - they will have wrong idea of how Italian food supposed to taste …
