We stayed here a few times, if you check online you can fine some pretty good prices. The hotel itself is kid of out dated but it is comfy and nice. The last time we were there they were remodeling parts of the hotel and banquet areas. The food at the restaurant was awesome and the service was very good. They are known for the fried chicken and Amarillo cheesecake. The package we got offered a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries that were delivered to our room in the evening. The rooms we had were clean and well stocked with towels and soaps along with coffee and tea for the coffee maker that is in the room. They do have areas for weddings and receptions or upscale parties for large groups. There is also a pool, hot tub, game room with older arcade games and a workout center with a sauna.

I can’t speak for the hotel but as far as the fitness center (which is open to the public), it’s a great gym.

The actual gym has older equipment but I haven’t had issues with it except for a few cycling machines. It also doesn’t usually get too crowded so there’s always enough room. 

They have a dry sauna, it’s wooden and has a rustic feel. Great for relaxing after a workout or just to sweat.

The pool is a HUGE plus, it is very nice. The tropical plants and trees make it look nice.

The interior has been nicely renovated and the staff are top of the line. Web visit at pat l least twice a year and always enjoy ourselves

I attended a friends bridal shower here,this past weekend. The room we were in had large glass windows over looking the beach. It was a very nice time!

Stayed only one night as a stop over to purchase an RV to drive back to Fort Lauderdale.
The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The room was very clean, and while dated, it was free of dust and odors. 
The bathroom was clean and no leaks.
I would stay here again. The hotel sits on the lake and there was a beautiful sunrise and moon set!
