I live in Wilson and have visited Imagination Station several times. My grandchildren were visiting from Raleigh because of being tracked out of school. We decided to give the Imagination Station another try since our last visit 3 years ago was disappointing. We arrived to an almost empty museum, which I expected since the students here are in school. The girls were very excited to race the animals on the exhibit their dad had told them about. It was not working on our last visit and imagine the disappointment when it was not working again on this visit. The rock climbing attraction was closed because there was no staff to assist them with getting harnessed. There was an art exhibit on the third floor with "creepy" (description by 8 and 10 year olds)pictures. The 3 year old got in free and she should since there was nothing appropriate for her age except seeing a few lizards, snakes and turtles. I hope that maybe Wilson will invest in improving this facility in the future. It has so much potential! Wish I could be more positive.

Old post office converted to a museum. My 8 year old son liked it. Not much to see. Price of $5 is right but adults should be free. Animals are just snakes and lizards. Honey bee exhibit is cool. Rotating exhibit on 3rd floor.

Great place for children. A lot of hands on activities. Snakes, turtles, lizards. Toddler play room also.

Great for all ages. Very fun cheap entertainment. Friendly and helpful staff.

Took the kids and they had a really good time..the exhibits were entertaining and interesting and we had the chance to visit every floor to see what the museum had to offer. I'm not from Wilson but we travel around Eastern NC looking for museums that we never visited and we really really enjoyed the time we had when we visited the Imagination Station in Wilson, NC🖼🖼🐍🐢🐊😀🖼🖼
