Imports Unlimited was incorporated in February, 1985. Mike Caro is the sole owner and has been working on cars since he was 15 years old.
During the 70`s, Mike was trained at Sikorsky Aircraft in helicopter overhaul and repair. In 1980, Mike started a British sports car shop and then specialized in SAAB repair.
Due to expansion needs, Mike`s shop was moved to Wallingford in 1989 to a 15,000 Sq foot location. Imports Unlimited quickly out grew the location and moved to the old Grand Light showroom on the corner of Cedar St. and Route 5 in Wallingford for better exposure.
In 1998, Imports Unlimited purchased and moved to it`s current location, the old Central Motors Building. The new location allowed for an inside showroom, with a larger outside area to display their large car inventory.
