The rooms were old and dirty. We ended up leaving early because I couldn't stay there another second. The gentleman at the front desk was rude and made our early checkout much more complicated than necessary. He was impolite and very curt whenever he spoke to me. They also overcharged us by $448. I wish that I was exaggerating, but they accidentally double charged us over $300 for two nights (twice). That's a total of $615.82 for one night stay in a terrible "motel" room. I am still fighting the battle of having my money refunded. I worked with two ladies who were extremely kind and courteous, but that just can't make up for the $448 that they still owe us.

Very close and convenient if you are participating in the Kerrville triathlon. Try to avoid rooms next to the air conditioning condensers. Breakfast was good enough, drinks are served to the table. The only thing is that I had my earphones on watching a video while having breakfast and the waitress bothered me to ask if everything was okay. Very annoying when I was clearly busy eating breakfast and watching a video. The lighting of the room was not very good, especially in the bathroom. And the bathroom had noisy French doors that might be bothering if there are 2 people in the room and one have to go at night.

Great pictures online, but that didn't translate to what the place looked like in person. The front desk person was difficult when we tried to simply get a receipt detailing a cancelation requested. The manager had to intervene and finally get us what we needed. Also, the rooms look dated and doesn't look maintained regularly, specifically the bathroom.

The lunch buffet has really dropped in selections, and the food was just barely above room temperature. Wait staff friendly as always, clean dining room. Not sure I'll go back though.

Great hotel! Had no problems and it has its own pretty scenery. Bar had live band and the swimming pool is really big! Will definitely visit again.
