We stayed in an RV spot right by the water park and only a few rows away from the playground, jump pad and gaga pit. The Guadalupe River is just a little past the playground area. Although there's no designated swimming area on this part of the river it's a beautiful location to sit a while, fish, walk,bike or whatever activity you'd like to do next to the river. The campgrounds is very big and lots of activities to do if you choose to. My kids loved the mini golf as well. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and can't wait until we return.

Went for Halloween hayride. Rangers were very knowledgeable and friendly. The hayride was enjoyable. We were able to see the entire property and were very impressed. It's both close enough and far enough from home to feel like a vacationand be convenient.

One of the better jellystone parks as far as amenities. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mini golf, golf cart rides by the river, wading in the river was all fun. Water park was great. We rented a cabin. Golf cart pickup and rental was easy and convenient. First night we were getting bit by ants in the cabin. Staff was quick to come by and treat which fixed the issue. We reserved a cabana by the pool for granny to sit at and stay out of the heat. When we went to check in for cabana we were told they overbooked them and we had been bumped off the list. It was too hot for granny to sit out in the sun, so she missed getting to watch my son play in the water park. Very disappointed in this aspect as this was a key aspect of our vacation planning. Granny had to sit in the cabin all day while we were at the water park

It was nice. Not really camping though. Except the log beds were the worst! The mattress starts to fall between the logs and it's impossible to be comfortable on them. Bring lots and lots of pillows. Lol

Nice family park. Cabins are nice and look new, with great a/c. The only downside to the cabin is the coffee maker: the park doesn't provide filters. The splash pad is great. There are two water slides, lots of water cannons, a water tower that overflows every few minutes, and two swimming pools. Plus an indoor pool and hot tub. There's a laundry room and showers. There's free wifi that covers a good bit of the park and the cabins have cable TV. There's lots of activities, most of them are free.
