For several years voted the best place for a massage in Denton county, IBS gives you the opportunity to help students massage therapists get the hands-on hours they need for licensure while you get a very relaxing massage at an unbeatable price, all in a spa environment  (very different from other schools that feel like warehouses with curtains, barely offering the illusion of privacy). 

The trade-off? You give them feedback after via a few survey questions  (how was the greeting? the pressure, the flow, their grooming - did they smell bad, did they address your needs, any advice) and that contributes to their grade for your session. That's so little effort, it feels like stealing. You're not even allowed to tip students, making that $35 hour long relaxation massage feel like a favor they're doing for YOU. For a bit more, you can have a therapeutic massage (specific area focus to break up knots), or add time. You can even go as a couple (you and your better half, your friend, sibling, kid, etc). 

And get this: you can also get a mud wrap, a body scrub, or a foot scrub from a student! There's even a lovely private whirlpool which you can book to soak in prior to your session. I say "student," when I really mean "intern." All "student" massages are performed by interns, who are students that have completed the hands-on training portion of their education, and need to complete 50+ hours of direct contact with clients. If you love it (and you will) and rebook before you leave (doesn't even have to be the same student next time), they knock $5 off the price. 

You won't get a better deal, not even at a chain. This place has such a good vibe that you walk in and feel the stress melt away.

Myeisha is AMAZING!!!! This was my second appointment with her and she addressed all my areas of concern.  I am a dental hygienist, so I have a lot of back, neck and shoulder pain.  Every time I leave I feel so much more relaxed.  She is amazing at what she does and I am so glad I have found her!  The rooms are kept very clean and are very relaxing.  Making an appointment has been very easy and I have had never had any problems.

Love this place! Very professional staff, their website easy to navigate and makes scheduling easy. I have had several massages here and never had a bad experience! Highly recommended!

I have been twice so far to receive a therapeutic massage and I have been very pleased with my experience each time. Sharon is amazing! All of the staff there are very professional and friendly. I will continue to go there for future massages and would highly recommend them, especially for someone who is having back pain.

I have now beeen going for over a year to Sharon and highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from headaches and back or neck pain. She also treats my daughter and my husband and we are all pleased with her and will continue to come back to Bodywork as long as she is there.
