Nobody does it like Irina!! I met Irina over 10 years ago and since then have moved to Baltimore.  To this day I travel the 90 mins to get to the BEST dressmaker there is! from my daughters wedding dress, to countless alterations, she is truly skilled at what she does.  Her pieces are stunning, as well as the other lines she carries in her Elkins Park boutique. I am her biggest fan!

I have been going to Irina for years- She has done everything for me from minor alterations to complicated tailoring to leather work. I first brought a couture hand painted leather jacket to her about 6 years ago and after she was able to fix it  I was hooked! She is incredibly skilled. Won't go anywhere else.

 I have know Irina since she opened her first shop. Her workmanship is exquisite. I have watched her grow into an accomplished fashion designer. I am not an easy fit and from the first pattern she got it right. Irina takes pride in her work. I love wearing her timeless fashions and love having her create them. She has a unique ability to know just how to make your clothes fit right !

I met Irina 12 years ago when the women at Joan Shepp suggested I have Irina alter my wedding gown. She did an amazing job of tailoring my dress so that it complimented my body and was also unusually comfortable for someone like myself who tends to avoid formal wear. Recently, I approached Irina to teach a fashion course for the Cheltenham Township Adult School and she and her daughter transformed our dull, old clothes into fashionable, stylish outfits.  She was able to  help each one of us envision ourselves as new and more exciting versions of our former selves.  She has a skilled, unbelievably creative eye and the unusual ability to translate her vision into a fabulous new look. Irina exudes creativity and love of fashion and beauty. There is no one like Irina!

I had a horrible experience!! My initial fitting was cancelled at the last minute (after I had already taken leave from work to accommodate their hours) because they wanted to leave early that day. This should have been an omen...LOL At the rescheduled fitting, the staff was rude and I felt very rushed. I had no input in how the dress would look. 

When I went back to try it on, it was much too big and falling down, but they insisted that I "need breathing room to be comfortable." The thread loops for my bustle broke (thread ripped right out) during the fitting, but they assured me it would be fixed for the final fitting. 

At the final fitting, the dress was brought it in a little, but it still wasn't enough, because my strapless gown fell down my whole wedding night. It was so embarrassing to have my cleavage hanging out, and having to keep hiking my dress up while I was dancing!! What a pain!! As suspected, the loops on my bustle broke again 30 minutes into the reception and I ended up using a safety pin to keep my train off the ground. What a waste of $425 for alterations that were horrible!!
