You could not not love this place. Perfect spot for a cozy rest after all the craziness on bourbon st. On point Irish coffee and whiskeys, and the staff here are such great people to chat with. Ask for their travel tips!!
Connected to, and supported by, the pub next door/behind the museum. Small museum but interesting. Beautiful courtyard. Very cool, very chill. Best irish coffee we found out of six local Irish Pubs and the only place playing good music. Extensive Irish whiskey selection. They've got nicer pours, but they're a little pricey. Family run
Lots of history! Amazing courtyard and bar with an extensive variety of Irish whiskeys. Their coffee shop was superb too! Best coffee in NOLA.
What a hidden gem!! Great atmosphere to duck in out of the heat and crowds! Connected to the St. Pats coffee house.Small but informative area about The Irish Culture and history! Highly recommend!
Love this place. Very nice selection of booze, very good bartenders who can mix standards like an old fashioned or a Sazerac or one of their new concoctions. The Irish coffee is great here, also the Dublin fog, which is based on hot tea, is pretty addictive.
Loved the historical info and fantastic drinks. Tried a couple different ones and they did not disappoint!! Family recipes are the best! Cute courtyard to drink and relax. Our bartender was super friendly and gave us some great recommendations of local eateries as well.
The museum wasn't real big, buy had a lot of information. The little pub had an excellent, knowledgeable bartender and the drinks were fantastic. Sis got an ICIC Irish coffee with ice cream and I got an Irish milk punch. Both were excellent.
Non-museum people of the world, I understand how you might feel, when you are visiting New Orleans, and your mate wants to drag you to a learnin' place to get some culture pronounced "cultuh" here. What if I told you that at the end of a rainbow there was a museum with only...... 2 rooms.......and one of them included..... a great bar? Had you stumbled across this treasure, then, my friend, you have found the Irish Cultural Museum, which features a great coffee and alcohol selection......with some placards and photos, reading optional. Try the red lemonade on a hot day, fantastic thirst quencher. I'm pretty sure this is the kind of place where you might be able to donate your Irish wares and find it on display.........really, really fun as in laid back. I mean it. Come here to escape the hot of the day.
I visited this lovely shop in October 2021, and have literally dreamt about the Irish coffee since! The atmosphere is very laid back, almost tranquil, in the mornings. It's a really charming spot to stop and have a drink and learn a bit in the process. Can't wait to return!
Low key great bar and courtyard right off of Bourbon street. Drinks were great, a real craft feel with a large variety of whiskeys and an awesome iced Irish coffee.
