We made reservations ahead of time but it wasn't crowded at all when we went. There is a beautiful interior section as well as cute outdoor section with music and bar. The live band was great, and they played happy birthday for my brother-in-law. The food was good as well, our waitress Jolie was the best. All of the drinks were good and well mixed. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone!
The House of Blues is a music venue in New Orleans w various shows all the time. If you’re ever in the city it’s definitely a nice spot to catch a live band! Last night Kermit had to play for the annual holiday show put on by Dr. Price. It is always a great vibe when I visit. Service can be iffy at times but “okay”. I would recommend finding out what bands are going on and visiting. Perfect for a good time in the city!!
Attended the 2022 Interview with a Vampire Halloween party. It was off the chain! Costumes were incredible! Lots of fun themed cocktails and a crazy night of entertainment! Not for the faint of heart or single minded folk. Very explicit entertainment, and if that’s not your thing there were other options to explore. Once in a lifetime experience for a first-timer to NOLA.
Went to 'A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS' concert and loved the venue!! Its rustic meets modern ambience was evident from the redbrick walls that blankets the entrance ways , which leads to a very modern high tech sound booth that supports a stage of same candor. Patrons are privy to two levels of space to totally enjoy this place and the fantastic events hosted here. House Of Blues is truly a gem of New Orleans!!
Had an amazing time at the Madness After Dark event hosted by the NCAA and Wendy’s! From the red carpet and specialty Hurri•Kane Lemonade to the surprise concert by Darius Rucker, this was definitely a night to remember!!! It was my first time attending a concert at any House of Blues venue, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Every space was a great view and I absolutely loved the vibe and decor.
My first time at the House of blues in New Orleans was an absolute hit. Drove in from Florida to see Ghostland Observatory. Everything was perfect from the time I arrived till the time I left. I’ll definitely be back. My hometown always has the best venues.
This place has only gotten better. We upgraded to the VIP experience and it was worth it. We were assigned a server, Kayla, who was excellent. The music was loud and fantastic. Will definitely go again.
Restaurant: very savory jambalya with a healthy portion of shrimp and sausage, gumbo seemed a little salty, and everything had a good kick. Venue: always opt for VIP. However, the smaller, intimate venue provides a great experience regardless. Two bars downstairs and one upstairs with food options which is nice. I would watch any artist in this venue.
This place was very full of life and had it's very own vibe. I would recommend purely for the atmosphere. I had a couple appetizers and they were yummy. The musical entertainment was definitely fun.
VIP is the best way to go. We had outstanding service from the restaurant to the very end of our evening. I suffer severe panic/anxiety attacks and they made sure that my safety and care was top on their list. We will return in the future if not for concerts it will be for food. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening with my boyfriend.
