I visited this office to discuss a tax issue and met Mr. G. Gwym. He was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable, and was able to give me good advice. It was a pleasure, and Mr. Gwym should be commended for his excellent service.

Rockville TAC, Maryland: Unhelpful, bordering on the hostile. I've been to this office now three times and each time I was shocked by the unhelpful behavior and hostile attitude of the staff. Ms Aberca refuses to help on the simplest questions. Just repeats "This is not our office protocol" like a robot. After I asked to speak to the manager, he huffed and puffed and gave me dirty looks like I was his worst enemy. The office policy seems to be to stare at papers for minutes on end, as if some secret information will reveal itself; disappearing for ONE HOUR to photocopy four documents; and finally coming up with a ridiculous excuse to avoid providing assistance. This office should be closed. It is an anti-assistance service. Services should be better automated to avoid this human waste of time and resources.

Proud to have these people in our IRS. They are not the boogie men. They are here to be fair clear and helpful. Glad to know them and be part of our democracy
