Reviews
Well-maintained, extremely friendly airport that provides the small-town service and atmosphere lost in the big-time, occasionally impersonal operations that corporate FBOs lack. Strictly a VFR operation that demands a pilot's attention but not fear. Surrounded by higher terrain, it sits on top of a mountain and is easy to spot if you've planned the flight. Calling the office (located in town) will get you the information you need, and a call to Jim will provide more than sufficient pilot information. Rental car is available with advance reservation - it's expensive but necessary, and the car I got was fine. Bottom line: an excellent airport with clean, comfortable facilities.
