They created an absolute dangerous construction zone with ZERO regard for drivers safety. Every single damn day there is a horrible wreck in the Temple Belton area and nothing is being done to fix it or speed up construction. The fact that someone isn't in jail for negligence is mind blowing. I'm a truck driver who goes through here multiple times on a daily basis and I have never seen in my 18 years of driving a more poorly thought out plan for construction.

It's getting very old to constantly have road closures and detours with no warning and no alternative routes planned. On top of that, the roads that ARE open have random signs that are too late to direct traffic to correct lanes. Basically, this company should probably find some new work because as a construction company, they are useless

I don't know where to put this but someone drive truck 1-196 on October 12 2016 ignored a yield sign as I was exiting the interstate and almost cause a pileup wreck and continued to drive wrecklesly
