Great experience for my boys being their first time to a Japanese restaurant. Wife was pleasantly please with service and quality of food. Enjoyed every moment seeing my lovely family experience a great evening. Can't wait til the next time. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful evening. Job well done

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful meal together. Great sushi selections, wonderful home made deserts. The atmosphere was perfect for an evening out. I suggest the sushi bar if you have never seen sushi made, it was a great experience for my 13 year old daughter who loves sushi dishes.

So many amazing rolls as well as the best miso in town. They definitely craft their sushi with care and purpose here and you can taste the difference. The Lassen roll is the best creation since the dawn of time. Yummmmmmmm.

What a treat! Everytime I've been here I've always been impressed by the selection, the atmosphere, the pricing...it's all so great! I'd highly recommend the Dragon Egg dish!

I don't know why, but I feel relaxed when I go the Blossoms. Something about the vibes in the 'rant. Good-enough food. The most delicious hot tea I've had at any Asian restaurant. I like the decor. They would do well to look at the menu of Mobo Sushi in Santa Cruz, CA in order to find and create a more extensive and creative selection of vegetarian sushi. Jena was one of the best waitresses I've every experienced. Thanks. UPDATE: Sadly, I had a non-excellent experience at Blossoms in February of 2017. Here's the letter I sent to the owner in February of 2017, still unanswered as of May 2017: "Owner Japanese Blossoms 2995 Esplanade Chico, CA 95973 My wife and I have eaten at your restaurant at least 10 times and enjoyed each visit excepting last night when the brown rice was uncooked (hard as tiny pieces of unchewed bubblegum) and my avocado-cucumber sushi was disappointing because the amount of avocado in each piece was about this big and this thick: Plus we sent my wife’s veggie-disk order back after having requested the sauce on the side but receiving the disk with the sauce on the ingredients. I had posted a 4-star rating for you on yelp initially, but… We are now disinclined to return. Please respond. Sincerely, Clayton L. Olson"
