Highly disappointed with my last experience here. I called for an appt and asked that the stylist be comfortable and experienced with mixed cultural hair. I only wanted a press and a trim. And the girl the gave me to had no clue what she was doing. She sprayed my hair with hair spray. And I had to walk her through how she can't cut it curly, and to press it from the root out, how she missed spots and she needed to trim all the splits off, and then I realized she had just graduated. Like her station still had congrats notes all over it.  I ended up just going home and redoing the whole thing. Complete waste of time and money..

I loved the gal who helped me here! She did so great and made the experience fun and easy. I'm not good with names....Lauren? She has the 1st chair on the right when you walk in the salon area! Wears glasses and is very funny and sweet.

Shannon is amazing she is my go to stylist when ever I am in town. highly recommend her. she made me ice blonde when no one else could. if you live in grand rapids and you are not seeing her, you should start!

I went to get my hair colored and cut. It took over 3 1/2 hours and didn't turn out how I wanted it. It turned out orange. I had things to do so I dyed it brown. I called to talked to the manager to get my money back. She said no because I already dyed it. I can't go walking around looking like a clown. Thanks JCP salon!

The girl who did my hair (Abby) missed spots, left dye in my hair that I had to wash out at home and completely burned my bangs. ...All for $90.
