They do have some good deals going on right now, and I definitely found a lot to purchase while visiting in just one section of the store. However, during check out, they are quite persistent about getting you to purchase one of their credit cards. Ultimately, the people working here are friendly and assistive, and the place can get quite busy, especially around the holidays.

Great selections. Prices are good with coupons and sale prices.  I've always liked shopping at JCPenney's.  As with every where, just check out your merchandise before buying.

I love jc penny. I got most of my household items there. Such as bedset, quilts, pots ans pans, silverware, curtins ect. I also have gotten alot of my son's clothes there. I'm a Sephora junkie. So when i finally agreed to getting the jc penny credit card because of the discount the first place i went was Sephora. I specifically asked the cashier who opened my card if the "entire store discount" included Sephora. She assured me that it absolutely did. So after I made sure to grab everything I needed since i was getting the discount i went to get rang up. I told the cashier in Sephora that i just opened a store credit and pulled out the reciept for her. She wouldnt even take it. She told me that because i didn't get the credit card through her she wouldn't give me the discount. I reminded her that its an "entore store discount" and that i was informed that i could get it in Sephora. She wouldnt budge. Telling me that "it was the only incentive she had to get other customers to open credit cards through her so she wouldn't give me the discount." I pleaded with her as i wasn't going to use the discount on anything else that day and the ONLY reason i even opened it was for the discount on my beauty products. She wouldn't do it. Im not sure who was wrong in this situation...the original cashier or the Sephora employee. She then told me that my husband, who was with me, should open another credit card through her and she would give me the discount. I was floored to say the least. I ended up not purchasing any merchandise and left because I was way too upset to give ANY of my money to this lady.  Looking back i should have spoken to managment about it. I haven't been back since.

Could not find a cashier so I went to order pickup.  The young gentleman was very helpful and friendly.   My purchase was a bit heavy so he lifted it up and put it on my rollator so I could get it to my vehicle.

Purchased a ring for my 48th anniversary for my wife. 70% off black Friday sale. Walked right in picked it up less than 10 minutes on black friday. Highly recommend it for shopping
