They have a good selection of items. The big drawback is it's severally understaffed and the shopping experience suffers from it. They do have some staff that's good if you can find them.

...This store in Maplewood is 100% frustrating. They do not keep things clean and neat. Heck, they normally do not even have what you're looking for in the first place. The people working there are absolutely obnoxious. Please find different people to work there. People who will at least "act" like they want to be there. You can NEVER find someone in a department and if you do they say something like this isnt my department, let me find someone for you...REALLY???? TRAIN YOUR PERSONNEL PLEASE. 
Then they over price the products MASSIVELY during a sale to make it look like you're saving money when you most certainly are not. Example would be their OxO cooking ware is $89.00 during the sale to get "buy one get one half off" ....a few days later the EXACT product was now $59.00 as a regular price. 
Jcpenneys wants to know or maybe it knows why it's going out of business. Maybe they should have read more of these and worked on these thing instead of bringing in Large Appliances??????
