The employees are incredibly kind. I have good look with each one insuring that I have gotten the lowest price possible ... even when I did not know that there was a sale price available. At first glance it does not appear that there is much stock on hand because their displays are so large. I have always found that they have at least one of every size that I am looking for in most items. The styles range from classic, retro to now; business, casual to just hanging out. I have been less successful looking for purses or accessories; though some of the costume jewelry is adorable!
Store hours are actually 11-7. The store hours on the window says 11-8. Even online hours are 11-8. Staff are sitting by the cash registers watching customers coming into a unlocked front door and locked inner door. They just stare while customers are confused why the store is not opened. Maybe JC Penny can update their info so their valuable customers' time is not wasted.
I was looking at balck Friday luggage and I came across one that said it $99. Went to the register to check out and it rang up at 129.99. Talked to the "manager kristen" and she was absolutely rude to me sayin she was not going to change the price for $30 different. So then I called the store back to talk to the store manager and jo jo got on the phone and said to come back and he would fix it. I walk in and he said that he can't change it. So I went back for them to tell me no again. So then I called corporate and they fixed it for me. Not hard to be nice when someone didn't do anything wrong. Nice customer service!!
I purchased a pair of diamond earrings for over 3,000 dollars. I purchase the extended warranty on them. I lost a screw back to one of the earrings, so I called the jewelry department to find out what I should do. The young lady took my information because she wasn’t sure what I should do. She was going to find out and call me back. Well, 3 days later and I have received no call. Im very upset after spending that much money. Thank god I didn’t loose the earring and it was only the back!!! Edit: the store called and asked me to come in with my earrings and they will take care of them. She had to find out the information and due to a shortage in staff, she got back as quick as she could. She was very sweet and very helpful.
Lori on the register was very friendly and extremely helpful. The store was clean and bright and well stocked. My wife certainly went wild in the aisles..
Went there today, was closed at 7 pm instead of 8 which was posted on their hours of operation, why did they close early. Lot's of cars parking to go into the store just to find out they closed it early.
Absolutely loved it! I actually found 2 dresses I love. I've gotten several compliments when I've worn both ot them multiple times!!
Very friendly staff very good service the store was nice and clean the restrooms were to they had lots of varieties kids men's women's toys Home Goods like blenders and griddles Tupperware awesome store and they had really good Black Friday deals this year anything to need for your house they definitely got it blinds curtains comforters pillows I mean lots of stuff and they also have a salon in this JCPenney's
Still not enough cashiers and one of the registers broke down so that made it take even longer., But they still have a better selection than Maplewood
Trashy is an understatement! Nothing was where it was supposed to be, clothes on the floor everywhere. ZERO employee presence, and how could there be, because all of them were ringing people out.
