Looks like it could be the home of a five finger discount business. Big shortage of checkout stations and very few customer service folks on the floor. 1 checkout station open on main level. Had to walk from one end of store with what I wanted to purchase to the other end to pay. Argh!

I went in to have a Balayage done with a cut. Stylist was super nice but did not provide at all satisfactory results. She could tell I wasn't happy with it but still charged me 120 plus tip at the end of FIVE hours in the salon! FIVE HOURS!!! I left the salon trying to hold back tears because there are distinct harsh lines from where it was not blended at all. I wish I could get my money back! I am one that doesn't trust many people to touch my hair, and now I've learned my lesson again! Will never enter a jcpenny salon again.

So myself and 3 other friends got our hair done here. We each had interesting experiences. I had long hair and got a pixie cut. I like how it turned out, but I practically had to fight the lady tooth and nail to get what I wanted because she wanted me to get anything other than pixie. Did a good job in the end though. 1 of my friends (Rose), died her entire head blonde. Again, it turned out looking good, but for her she had told the lady that she didn't want her to style it because she couldn't afford the extra fee. The lady styled it anyways, and still charged her. My 2nd friend (Clarissa) got a balayge and even though the lady was very kind, she obviously didn't know what she was doing and Clarissa's hair came out horrible. It is so choppy and my friend practically cried. My 3rd friend (Katherine) also got balayge but with a different woman. Gretta. She did a very good job, but her attitude was horrible. Hardly talked to us, no smiles, and when Kate paid she seemed offended with her tip. No one wants to tip a bad attitude so the $10 she got was plenty. Overall, would not go back. Ever.

Our visit to JCPenney was not very good at all. There was no representative to assist in the shoe department and we had to go and find someone to help us. The shoe department was in shambles and no one around to be found to help!!

The sales woman in the drape dept was very patient with me. I changed my mind 3 times before my final purchase. Will return.
