Love the library, not happy about closing at 6pm on a Friday or not open on Sunday's. Guess I'll have to go to St. Louis County where the libraries are actually open when you need them. So much for the tax increase that was supposed to make the libraries better!

I was working at a table at the Arnold branch of the Jefferson County library when my focus was broken by the terse sound of a library attendant angrily state, ". . . stop talking and listen to me." The library attendant was directing her rather harsh tone towards a patron. I was sitting some distance away with the patron's back towards me so I did not see who the person was, nor could I hear what he was saying or had said. But I definitely heard the rather loud statement from the library attendant. I would not have posted anything but the incident is not the only time I have observed an angry attitude on the part of the library staff.

Great book selection. Crappy resources. Costs $2 to use the internet for an hour

The librarian for the children's section recently put together a Star Wars event. I cannot express enough how wonderful it was and how appreciative I am that someone took the time to organize that event. My daughters and I had a wonderful time. Thank you!
