Dr Colbert is 5 stars all the way!! I had never ever had any sort of injury involving my mobility & lemme tell you, a torn meniscus & ruptured ACL was pretty darn bad! I had been to 3 other highly recommended knee surgeons in the area. I felt comfortable with Dr Colbert & his wonderful office staff was as helpful as could be. There was also no wait time once I arrived in the office!! I liked the fact that he did not stress me out during the consult telling me how dire of an emergency my condition was , he was understanding about how being physically active was important and he too had suffered a similar injury while skiing so there was more sympathy than most doctors as to how much of a big deal it was to me to get back to doing the sports I like. He had also operated on a few motorcycle cops which was a big plus as I love to ride my motorcycles. The day of surgery arrived & I was somewhat nervous, but it was done and over with before I knew it. His demeanor was calm & understanding. Its been a few months since surgery, and he did a great job cleaning up the meniscus & replaced my acl with a cadaver (great choice)!. I was concerned about my ROM at first, so he had drained some of the swelling without hesitation & it as helped immensely. Dr Colbert is honest & really handles each case on its own. I am very happy with surgery & will always recommend him Thanks!!!!
