Not worth one star! I read other's reviews and was relieved that my experience was validated.  I didn't know that was paying $180 for cheap 100% synthetic hair (they provided the hair). I sat in pain almost feeling like a I was having a stroke while being told they were not braiding tight - they were and the bad hair was stabbing my scalp. They did not style my hair shown to them in a picture then burnt the ends, that stabbed me in the neck resulting sleepless nights. I took that mess out after four days and went back in to report my problem.  The owner offered a do over, but I could not trust them after that.  Signs all over about no refund so I took a loss.  As friends inquire, I tell them about my experience.  The niece and owner "worked" me.  There are other braiders in the salon that may do good work but those two have the attitude that a "new" customer serves them not the other way around.

Got micro braids today... and absolutely LOVE them.. Asked stylists not to do braids to tight, and they listened. Staff was professional and extremely courteous. I live in South Carolina, but I will definitely be making my way back to Fayetteville NC as this salon is top notch. I would recommend Jessy to anyone looking for a clean professional braiding hair salon with stylists that listen to what their customers want.

It was my third time getting my twists done at Jessy's African Hair Braid. They have the affordable prices in fayetteville NC. Jessy did it for me, she is very quick and nice lady. I would recommend Jessy's African Hair Braid to anyone looking for a clean professional twist, braiding hair salon with style.

First time getting weave , so I decide to come here for faux locs . I brought my own hair and when she finished she says “the middle isn’t full” so I thought she meant it’s not as much as the rest of my head . My hair was thick and it was a lot of hair . She says “you can still pull it up and wear it down . It’s just not as full” she pulls my hair back into a half up half down style . I go to work the next day and notice a patch of my hair is unfinished . I don’t recommend people going here .
