Great space in an ideal location. A little bit of a long wait for a party of 4 with a reservation a head of time, but the bar was great. 
The food was great and a 5/5 with the exception of the lamb ragu and papperdelle. It was just extremely bland for something that should be a delicious homey home run. The gnocchi was out of this world good. 
Overall a great dinner experience with one major let down. 
Addendum: after several return trips, I have found it to be inconsistent. Some of the favorite dishes will be on point some nights and bland others. Sometimes the ricotta is amazing, sometimes kinda lumpy. Same with the gnocchi, it was gummy in a bland broth this last time.

Service was disjointed and inconsistent. Pairings weren't together, even had to ask for them, moreover, apps came out of course, even after I specifically asked for them in the proper order. Disappointed with the overcooked pasta as well.  They harken on the importance of said product with branding, yet was very unimpressed.  I can cook dry pasta better.  Also, odd choices with classic entrees.  They expound on being "New Italian", yet, not only fall short of staples, cannot even do them any justice in new form.  The tuna app was nice, wine was decent.  But cocktails were rather small, especially for price.  Texture was highlighted on some, but not many entrees.  Steak was tender and flavorful, yet had no crust.  Additionally, the potatoes were  pitiful.  Overall, go somewhere else.  Not worth time, nor price

The oysters are wonderful. JJ does a great job. The service is also very well done. The appetizers were exceptional. The main courses were good.

Mostly coastal Italian food with a variety of fish, octopus, and squid. I had the spaghetti with meatballs, which was incredible. The mule I ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had. Very trendy and great view. Pretty pricey.

I'm torn here.  The place is amazing, love the atmosphere.  The service was impeccable, our waitress was there for every need.  The food was pretty tasty.  So all of those things are great.  The challenge I have is going to sleep at night knowing that we paid over $100 for two pasta dishes, and app, and two glasses of wine.
