Adam and Lawrence came to help us with a sewer backup issue today.  They were extremely friendly and courteous.  We explained the symptoms and they assessed what they believed to be the issue.  It turned out they were right and were able to solve the backup issue in a little over an hour.  They were the picture of professionalism and, in addition to solving the backup problem, they also answered some other plumbing-related questions we had for them.  I'd recommend Dhamer Plumbing anytime!

When they're here Monday thru Friday,  they are excellent workers.   I had an emergency that, of course it is Friday night.  All sights that I go to, show them working on Saturday from 7am to 12pm.  Please update your websites!

Have used Jim Dhamer plumbing on few occasions. One was for leaking water underneath our claw foot bathtub. Bob came and diagnosed the problem quickly that it was a faulty gasket near the drain. A quick (an inexpensive!) fix. Another time they came because we noticed a leaking coming down from ceiling in our unfinished basement. They searched around and found that the builder hadn't sealed two pipes together properly. Another quick diagnosis and successful fix to our problem! Much appreciated!
 Each time, the guys were courteous and explained everything in an easy to understand manner. Will definitely use if needed in the future.

I had a floor drain in my basement back up over the weekend, and I called a 24/7 plumbing place. They charged me a lot of money for rodding, that didn't fix the problem. They wanted to take more extreme measures and start charging thousands, when I finally got in touch with my insurance agent who recommended Jim Dhamer Plumbing. These guys came in and fixed the problem right away, were very professional, and charged a reasonable price. The lesson I learned is, if you have something happen over the weekend and can wait until Monday, wait for a real company to be open. This company is my new 'go to' for any plumbing needs.

Asked them to come out on A Wednesday because we were smelling gas in our home by our stove. They didn't come out till Friday and when they showed up they didn't even have the proper tool to detect the location of the leak. They told us to call Nicor to come out to find the leak and then charged us $65 and left without actually having done anything.
