I’m not sure what happened honestly. I don’t know if the group of friends at the front register that our waitress kept going to was distracting her. If they worked there they should have been doing their jobs. All I know is my husband and I called my dad five or ten minutes after we placed our order, and my phone log says the phone call was at 6:20. At 6:50 we still hadn’t got our food. We don’t like causing a scene, so we offered to pay for our drinks and left. I’m really kind of bummed because when we got there the diner reminded me of home and all the staff and patrons were so friendly. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

The food was absolutely terrible! The waitress was not only rude to us, she also interjected her own inappropriate opinions into a conversation between a parent and their child! There was an hour plus wait that day as well. The food was so bad that I wouldn't even bring it home to my dogs! There were 4 guests at my table and we ordered 6 different breakfast meals. Not one was satisfactory, not one! The biscuits and gravy did not taste like anything other than some cardboard. The sausage gravy didn't taste even remotely close to what it should taste like. The ham didn't even taste like meat, let alone ham! It was more like the flavor of chewy old grease! And even after bringing the aforementioned to the attention of the waitress, she did nothing to remedy the situation! I'm certain it was apparent to anyone that looked at our plates when they til then from our table that there was not more than a few bites out of things! That in itself should've made it obvious that the food was as bad as we informed them it was! . I've always been willing to give places a second and third chance, but wouldn't even consider it at this place! My rating is zero!

Eat there three to four times weekly. Great breakfast served up to 11:00am. Waiters are great as well as the food.
