What a surprise find. From the outside just sort of ho-hum, nothing special. But inside Joe's is open and airy and quite nice in a pub sort of way. The staff are friendly and helpful. So far so good. What about the food? Well there was a problem with my combo oyster/shrimp po boy. There were too many oysters and shrimp to find the bread ... :-) . Wow, what a great problem!! I had to eat half the shrimp and oysters with a fork before I could pick up the sandwich!! And the oysters and shrimp were not over breaded. Fantastic sandwich, and only $8.99. I am going back for sure.

Eaten here since it moved from bay front years ago. Never a bad meal. Service great! Seafood good but chicken fried steak may be best around. I eat here at least once a week. Prices are good for quality food.

The food is great and it's consistent every time we go there. The atmosphere is laid back easy going. Love this place. Right across from Jackie's brick House.

Being born & raised in the Deep South of Louisiana, this was quite refreshing compared to a lot of wanna be' s in the area... They did a great job executing the Louisiana style Seafood. I'd recommend getting your Seafood here. The service was good also... Laid back environment...

Wow... this place was awesome. When it comes to seafood, I'm highly skeptical. Being from Texas/Louisiana area, seafood is life. And many get it wrong. Not Joe Lee's. Their food is seasoned so every One can enjoy it, even our 3 yr old daughter. They have optional spices to season it as you desire. The portions were unreal. They give you 3 days worth of food! You can't go wrong by choosing Joe Lee's.
