Joel's is probably the most fun sushi place in town. They always have something crazy on the menu to try, and it's almost always good (Ninja Amigo roll?!). Joel is typically around being friendly and trying to help. Fair warning, I rarely get good service at Joel's. It typically takes a while to get your food and you don't always feel like you're being waited on. That being said, I've never had an issue with my order being wrong, and so I don't hesitate to go back. I just have certain expectations as to what the experience is going to be like.

Have always loved this place, but tonight was very disappointing. We went early and were seated right away. However, the service was very slow from the beginning. We ordered a Bento Box, but only one of three of us got the full box at one time. The other two got it piecemeal. One didn't get fried rice until all the other food was done. No real apology and no discount or other compensation until I brought it up. At this point,  the waitress begins to argue that they're busy with 2 10 tops. However,  I saw them setting these up when we arrived, so our order should have been in before theirs. The kitchen shouldn't be backed up for something as simple as fried rice and explanation is that people who arrived after us are keeping the kitchen too busy to finish our order.

Amazing food. Personal favorite is the curry chicken, good sushi. Not the most seating available. Always popular. Orders consistently done in 20 if getting take out. Always about an hour wait for delivery. Friendly staff.

Perfect stop for Sushi after our evening ride at First Flight Bicycles! Joel is tha man! Never had anything bad here and I love how he works the floor and caters to the customers. Funny guy! The decor is awesome too. GIANT sushi, wine, beer and liquor selection

Been here a few times. Mixed service. 
Sushi is always good but the service is getting worse and the management seem to caring less. 
Went there last week 
30 minutes for a beer. 
Food came our for half our party and the remainder of the food took another 30 plus minutes. 
Sushi rolls were combined into bigger rolls when two of the same were ordered for two separate people. Pretty bad way of serving them... especially when the people are in two ends of the table. 
Raman took over an hour. 
We talked to a manager and he was rude and uncaring.  Will be the last time we go here.
