I dined in with family, I asked the server how the seafood pasta is, she was excited to tell me it's delicious. I ordered it. I was disappointed though. On the menu it states that it's supposed to come with shrimp, clams, and crab meat. I was anticipating something really delicious, especially for $25. When I received my dish, I had five shrimp in it and 1 piece of clam meat and no crab. My friend at the table ordered the same dish and it was lacking seafood as well. It would have been better if they would have told me they were out of seafood than to serve the dish incomplete. The portion size was huge, but the seafood pasta only really had five shrimp in it. I took a picture as it arrived the pasta was very bland as well. My other friend at the table ordered the fried chicken dinner, he said that the chicken was good but was disappointed that the potatoes were instant potatoes.
Every time we go we have no complaints! We usually get pizza, AWESOME! This time I got the Buffalo chicken salad and it was the best! Unfortunately they raised the drink prices but we’ll be back.
Bartenders were horrible. I ordered two drinks of premium whiskey and first glass had lipstick and second glass still had soap on it. Attention to quality service was completely absent. I worked in the industry and understand how to treat a guest. No apologies or replacements drinks were offered, decided to eat elsewhere. Atmosphere was bad, music was too loud and lighting was too bright. I don’t usually complain like this but dining out is a treat for me and probably for others to.
We had a great time at Joey B's for a family birthday dinner. We had the fried chicken 4 pieces, and folks it was old school no air fryers involved. It came with a delicious heaping pile of mashed potatoes and best fresh green beans. We loved it!Food: 5/5
Before I tell you why I only gave it three stars, let me say I have been a fan of Joey B’s for years and years. I have frequented all three locations over the years. However two nights in the same week with pathetic service and cold food is very disappointing.and definitely not to their standards. A few nights ago I brought a newcomer to Joey B’s and her first experience was terrible. Not only did the waitress pretty much ignore us in the bar, while she did her side duties, at 8:15 PM but she obviously left out food sitting on the pick up area for a long time because it was barely lukewarm when we got it. Tonight, I brought another friend to sit at the bar. We ask the bartender about any hot drinks and aside from hot chocolate or coffee she had no suggestions nor did she give us a holiday drink menu. This was at 8:40 PM. I found the holiday drink menu on the table behind me. It took her a full 15 minutes to come back and take our drink order. She never checked on us once.
Neat atmosphere. Low lightning. Service was great. It was very very busy. 20 min wait. They sent a text when our booth was ready. Indoor/Outdoor seating. Great Menu. Large portions. Burgers are great! Cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
This is a popular place, so there will usually be a wait for seating if you go on a weekend. That said, every time we have gone usually a weekday, the service has been great and the food plentiful and tasty. Bar drinks standard fare. Overall, great place.
Hostesses were very rude. Apparently do not use the online waitlist on the front page of their website if you have a "larger party" even though you can join the waitlist for up to 8 people 9+ tells you to call the restaurant. We had a party of 8 and they were very rude, acted like they weren't going to be able to seat us and told us next time we had to call ahead. They then put us at a 6 top table with 1 adult and a highchair at the end of the table. They said they couldn't move any tables together because they had a party of 10 coming. No one else ever showed up to sit around us as we were eating. Our waitress was very nice and the food was delicious, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Just wish we didn't have to sit so close together with barely any room for our plates when there were several open tables surrounding us. Will be going somewhere else when we go out as a family.
Last night my family ordered takeout from this location. When they got home they came to realize that their order was wrong. My mom called to discuss what was wrong with the order and instead of fixing the situation the manager, Julie, argued with my mom but then ended up saying if my mom brought the food back to show her it was wrong they would give my mom her money back. Mind you that this was at 8pm and it was freezing last night. My mom ended up agreeing to go back to the location to show them the food and to get her money back. She was met with rude workers and an even worse manager. They ended up not giving my moms money back and told my mom that she should have handled the situation differently and laighed at her. My mom was open to any solution so the fact that they said this and acted this way is upsetting. It's very sad to me because my family and I go to this location frequently and we have never thought poorly of this location or had many issues. I am distraught that this happened to my mom and it's upsetting that my mom had to go through all of this and ended up with no dinner, no apology, or a refund.
The Caramel Apple Martini was great. The salmon and rice were great. The bread served with the salad left alot to be desired. The broccoli was cooked properly but was bland. The brussel sprouts were burnt. Told the waitress but still had to pay full price. Would think twice before eating there again.
