ER SUCKS REALLY BAD.CAME IN FOR THROWING UP BLOOD.CAME IN AT 1230 PM.HAD NOT DRANK OR ATE ANYTHING SENSE DINNER THE PREVIOUS DAY.AROUND 525 PM,I ASKED FOR A DOCTOR. 45 MINUTES AND STILL NO DOCTOR.I HAVE ASKED THE NURSES OVER AND OVER ABOUT GETTING A DRINK OF WATER.SO AFTER THEY MADE EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE ABOUT NO WATER AND NO DOCTOR.I ABRUPTLY GOT DRESSED AND ASKED THE NURSE TO TAKE OUT MY IV,NUMEROUS TIMES.INSTEAD OF ASSISTING ME.SHE GOT ON THE PHONE TO TELL THE DOCTOR I WAS LEAVING.I ASKED WHAT SHE WAS DOING. SHE SAID SHE WAS CALLING THE DOCTOR BECUASE SHE DIDN'T WANT TO LOOSE HER JOB.WOULDN'T IT BE MUCH EASIER FOR THESE GLORIFIED OVERPAID PUBLIC SERVANTS TO JUST DO THEIR JOB. THIS IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST REASONS WHY MEDICAL TREATMENT HAS BEEN THRU THE ROOF FOR SO LONG.INCONSISTENT TREATMENT AND PESONNAL WHO THINK THEY DO NO WRONG.OVERATED AND OVERPAID.THEN COMPACT IT WITH POOR ATTENTIVENESS AND CARE.I WOULDN'T BRING MY WORST ENEMY THERE... GET IT TOGETHER PUBLIC SERVANTS.

I went to emergency. I thought I was dying but I had the flu. They made me wait for 2 hours after I could have been discharged. Ended up watching a horrible Denzel Washington movie all the way through, which sucked. They sent me home without treatment. $10,000 bill. Fortunately, my insurance paid $7,000, but I'm stuck with a $3,000 bill for going in to emergency and them telling me I have the flu. Don't go to emergency unless you want to pay at least $3,000.

John Muir is a fraud. The doctor there did nothing but a simple blood test, then they claimed around $1,800 bill on me with around $1,200 out of pocket. For a simple circumcision surgery, they claimed on $33,800 bill on me with around $3,800 out of pocket. If you got a subtle leg sprain, the doctor would send you for an ultrasonic scan without doing anything else and charge you around $1,900 out of pocket! a vampire living on blood!

I had outpatient surgery here and was impressed with their care. I work in healthcare, and used to work in a surgery center. The nurses were attentive, schedule ran on time (obviously they can't fully control this, but some hospitals overbook ORs), and the anesthesiologist prevented the post op nausea I usually suffer. Their safety ratings are much better than the national average, too.
