Labor & delivery department- 5 stars! My baby girl was born here 6th November, 2017. It has been an amazing experience. I have been meaning to write a review for so long but finding time with a newborn at home was not easy. Susan, Lorraine & Michael - My heartfelt gratitude 🙏🏽 to these amazing people that made my labor& delivery experience beautiful. You are such good energy!! Thank you so much!🙏🏽 My experience at kaiser Walnut Creek has been so great that it makes me want to have another baby soon 😄 The nurses & mid wife's here are just amazing! The care I received made me forget that there was no other family around other than me and my husband. I recommend kaiser at Walnut Creek to all pregnant woman 😊

Took my wife, whom is pregnant, in for extreme abdominal and lower back pain. Upon checking in, it took two hours to see anyone, while person after person was checked in. While I am not a doctor and cannot judge the severity of people's injuries, I can hear them say their pains are 2-3-4-5, while my wife is literally a crying mess waiting to be seen due to pain. Appearently, after complaining to the nursing staff, our wait is finally up, and I am now known as the angry husband with a pregnant wife in pain. Immediately, the doctor identifies my wife is in pain and recommends a slew of tests and pain killers. After our 5 min visit with the doctor, we fast forward 2 more hours before anyone administers any sort of pain relief to my wife or tests. Meanwhile she is in tears and I am constantly asking someone to help us, the doctor had said she needed this right away. However, the 10 nurses sitting in the bull pen cannot be bothered. After the initial tests, of course the doctors cannot find anything and it is time to recommend an MRI and any other expensive test they can do. I've been here now for 8 hours, and when I said the service has been sub par the doctor said I am sorry you feel that way and walked out. Way to show your customers you care kaiser, or do not care. As I am sure this is not the only experience that went this way tonight.

Don't go there for yourself and your baby. I went with my two month old baby to ER because she had 100.7 fever, 3 days after her vaccination. I was so worried. I am new mom and didn't know what to do at the middle of night. They used catheter to check her urine. It was so painful for my baby. The result was clear. Then they draw her blood. It was horrible. The nurse was under training and it took long time to find vessel, so my baby was under awful pain while she was trying. There must be a professional for a newborn!!!! Blood results were clear too. The dr in ER said it seems it is a virus or something that is at start, so check with your pediatrician. Our pediatrician was out of town so I visit another one there. He came in room with shocked face. He made me more worried. He examined her and said It is maybe virus. My baby was tired and groaning, He said is it normal?! Doesn't she have pain?! I was dying, i all day was thinking for two month I thought she needs sleep while she had pain. My pediatrician replied our email the day after, he said the fever is because of vaccination. I wont go there anymore and recommend don't go for your baby.

Amazing staff and doctors! The facility is always clean and kept up very well. While there can be a wait at times, it's well worth it for the quality of service that you receive!
