Story

Its been a dream of mine for a long time to bring something new and exciting to a small town. That dream has now become reality and I am excited for the future of bringing people together from all walks of life under one roof to share in making memories with old friends and new for the rest of their life. Join in that celebration and come to where everyone will be sure to know your name and treat you like family.

The food is good. Breakfast is so so. Dinner and lunch is really good. Their dynamite shrimp is EXCELLENT. Service is hit and miss. A couple of them are very very good. Others not so much. Price is a little high but not bad.

Wednesday is burger night. Got dble meat with cheese. Delicious. Added a side of fries. Large selection of beer too. Service was great. Recommend for adults without children.

The first trip here was a let down , namely due to an inattentive server/tender. Came in, there were a total of 5 people besides our group of 3. It took ten minutes for a greeting/and to ask for our drink order. That set a mood for the rest of the visit. The food was okay, Not amazing, but not terrible. I'll give another shot if I'm in the area. Maybe it would be a better visit.

Johnny'z is the old Mikey's and while it definitely keeps a Mike's restaurants influence (owner used to work for them) it has a different flare, in terms of having excellent burgers and beer but not being dominated by that. Appetizers and fish fry are top notch as is the service. It is popular and small so tough to get a table for dinner if you don't get there early, better for the drink specials and watching the Blackhawks.
