We ordered chicken wings for an appetizer, it took over 30 minutes for the wings to arrive, and the table next to us sat down 15 minutes after we did and received an order of wings at the same time.  For all the time we waited, the wings were right on the edge of being cooked all the way, just a little too chewy for my taste.  I ordered the brats on pretzel bun, $11 and my husband ordered the Major BLT, $15. Prices are a bit steep, $11.95 for burgers?  The menu hasn't changed, it's a bit outdated, nothing really pops out at you.  Kind of disappointed, it's been a while since we've been at Highway Mike's and it kind of looks like time just stood still.  Too bad we used to love this place, but there's nothing that makes this any different than the next bar with a kitchen.   The wait staff likes to hide in the back corner of the bar area, they need to get out from behind the bar and take care of their tables.

I really liked the food, the prices were extremely reasonable, and the atmosphere was fun.

Besides having a wide beer selection, this is a sports bar and the NBA playoffs were not on and little effort was given to ask anyone else of they could help me, old college football was on, drone plane flyin, spring college game, hockey replays, the NFL Network during the off-season was available to watch, tennis, albiet on clay, and one TV off......

 but not NBA playoffs, the only reason I dragged my butt off the cord cutting couch I have.

Just driving past and decided to stop in for a burger and drink. The people there were really nice and easy to make conversation with. Huge burger with a mound of fries!
