This place did have great food many years ago. Sadly, the last two times I went there it was all around poor quality. Now I'm the type of guy that can eat a shoe if it's fried right and has the right gravy, but this stuff was tough to swallow. First, the beer had the taste of dish sanitizer. After that, eating the chicken was kind of like eating warm chicken jerky with with clumps of salt. The mashed potatoes were old and cold, and roasted sawdust would have tasted better than the cornbread. The whole meal was reminiscent of eating old microwaved leftovers from your fridge that should have been thrown away days ago. At least the beans were decent and the soda was good.

It was my first time at this restaurant, place was clean and well-maintained, good customer service, food was good, the only thing my ribs were little dry.

The floor in the dining room was very sticky (and loud with each step from the stickiness). The floor in the women's restroom was dry but very slippery, and looked filthy. Our order was delayed for every reason imaginable, and then was not served the way we had ordered it. Our waitress was absent for most of our visit, and absent minded when she was present. This was our first and last experience at this Famous Dave's. We've never had a bad FD experience before. Even more dissapointing is that a manager never came by (we were there for 90 minutes so they had plenty of time and opportunity) to see how we are doing, to let us know that they would be taking anything off of our bill (the waitress took off the two ice teas, but they weren't the problem), and this only compounds our disdain for the Kenosha Famous Dave's.

Walking in waitress was nice and seated us, there isn't much of a variety on the menu, the place was dark and hard to read the menu, the music was loud and t.v.s were on, I'm not sure why you can't here them. The waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there, halfway through our meal she gave us our bill and asked us if we are ready to pay, I felt rushed eating my meal therefore couldn't enjoy it due to it also being cold, potatoes seems old and corn was kind of dry like it was sitting however the muffin was good. Sad to say I will not be back. Oh and I understand the place has to get swept but I saw the girl push down garbage with her bare hands. Not good
