Tampons are $1.50!! And not well stocked to boot.  But otherwise very nice mall. Restrooms are clean, and big enough that there isn't a wait even during busy times. Great selection of stores and good variety in the food court. Honestly everything you could want in a mall that isn't the size of Mall of America. Very clean and well kept. Has an updated newer feel and a nice water thingy.

This is easily the best mall in the Des Moines area. 

They have a nice array of different shops you can't find at the other malls, as well as there is very little empty store space showing they are doing a better job at keeping tenants. And the mall itself is also very well maintained.

But the best thing that they have going for them is all the food and beverage options: they have a full food court with nice options for all income levels, as well as some sit down restaurants located in the mall as well.

Not only do they do a great job at getting people to come to the mall, they also do a great job at keeping them there.

Great mall! The prices reflect that it is the premier mall in the DSM Area. The surrounding stores will cover anything that the mall is lacking. Restaurants surrounding the mall cover any type of food that you might want as well as good entertainment in the immediate area. Would highly recommend this for an afternoon with the family shopping or with everything else around it makes for a great date night and then catch a movie there as well.

Massive mall, tons of stores. Very clean and cheerful. Most stores seem to be for womens clothes though. The food court has a good selection and the theater is HUGE. Always a good place to take a lap around indoors on those cold days. Can't really go wrong to window shop.

Let's start with the negatives: it's crowded, loud and the kids area is filled with kids that are too old and too tall for it. This makes it really difficult for parents of young kids. 
On the other hand, the stores are great, the staff helpful and the mall itself is very clean and well maintained. 
In addition, the design of the food court is very nice. The addition of the lounge area and fireplace was great.
