I am so glad Jordan's has come to CT - an immense improvement over our local Pilgrim's Furniture - would highly recommend. Excellent selection, great quality....and now for all the other pluses: 1 - The sales people there do not hover or chase you around the store 2 - Considering they had to deliver from a good hour away from New Haven the delivery charge of $58 was extremely reasonable 3 - Delivery process was excellent, kept up to date 1 week out and 1 day out. Also received a call 30 minutes before they arrived 4 - Deliverymen were courteous and friendly and very careful not to hit our walls. They set up and plugged in everything - did not have to do a thing! Highly recommend. Even though it's an hour drive for us will absolutely be back for every furniture purchase.

From our first visit where we were approached and were offered help we were pleased that we were left to ourselves when we explained we were just looking. After finding a unit we were interested in the associate was congenial and professional as he helped us with all the details. Our second visit was a good one as well where the associate swiftly and professionally walked me through the no interest offer and described delivery and the protection plan which we purchased at a reasonable price as well. The delivery process could not have been better! We chose the day of the week and Jordan's contacted us with the details and time of delivery and they followed through with complete exactness! RIGHT on time and setup to complete satisfaction!

I was so excited to get new furniture! After ordering, I asked for swatches. The one they sent for couch was not what I ordered. Order had to be reordered with correct fabric which resulted in delay in delivery. I had ordered down/ feather free as I have allergies to the above allergens. One week after delivery, I required hospitalization for an asthma attack. After discharge, I checked the The toss pillows and found that they were filled with down!! When I contacted the store, I asked for compensation for missed work and for the hospitalization. I was told that the only thing they would do was order 2 New toss pillows! 4 weeks later, I got 1 pillow! I called again and was told another pillow would be sent out. The beginning of December I received the pillow form but no cover! Again I called the store. I was questioned if I was sure that the down pillows were the cause of my hospitalization! I was asked why I couldn’t use the covers that were on the down pillows. Because they were exposed to the down, I replied. I was told that as a courtesy they would order a cover! Really, a courtesy? The store screwed up and has yet to remedy the problem, 6 months after the initial order! I will never, ever buy anything from this store!

I ordered a queen sized bed frame with casters which was delivered and set up. I found the update on delivery time first-rate. I was informed that the installers would be late and that they would be at my home on the later side of the scheduled delivery. The installers were polite and quickly set up the frame. The installer realized that only 4 casters were included in the delivery when there should have been 6. The installer called the store and a gentleman stated that he would have the extra casters delivered at no charge and they would be delivered the next day.

We visited Jordan's in New Haven when they first opened, and were impressed by the large furniture selection. With such a large selection they have a good range of prices to select from in each category. So when it came time to buy new furniture we came here first. The selection is incredible, and you don't get hassled or pressured by the sales staff. When you do need help there are plenty of sales people available to assist. Our salesperson spent three hours with us picking out all of our living room furniture. Delivery went smoothly, on the expected date, and at the beginning of the delivery window communicated. Overall, I would highly recommend checking out Jordan's for any furniture needs.
