We pride ourselves in serving delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine. We offer a tasty array of dishes from different regions of China. At Joyful House, we prepare our food using fresh and quality ingredients that are delivered to our restaurant daily. It is also well-known that the owner of the restaurant would go to Oakland Chinatown daily to shop for special ingredients needed in recipes and pre-order items.
No MSG is added for cooking. We offer the option to substitute olive oil for regular cooking oil for most menu items, at an additional $0.75 per entree.
Delivery is available within Castro Valley (Fee: $3.00). The minimum delivery order is $25.00 pre-tax.
