Joyride has been my bike shop of choice for the last 5 years. I can count on timely service, upfront pricing and quality repairs. Always willing to customize your bike to your preferences with great knowledge on how to do so, with great customer service. The shop primarily sells specialized bikes but also carries felts, Raleigh's, and seven cycles. In addition the shop hosts a couple great group rides and supports the local cycling community.

You can get a new bike anywhere, but you can't get the service and knowledge that Joyride Bicycles provide you. As Warren Buffett says, "Price is what you pay, value is what you get." Dave and his team are awesome!

HORRIBLE AND SCARY EXPERIENCE AT JOYRIDE. Don't spend your hard earned money here. David Kosark and his staff put me on an unsafe bike because of their inexperience and carelessness in assembling an expensive bike. It took FELT to get involved to get me a full refund after Dave Kosark and his staff misassembled the bike. They put me on an expensive IA-14 FELT triathlon bike with incorrect brake carriers, loose bearings, backwards brake and shifting cables, among other problems. They put my safety at risk. The first incident occurred when Kosark let me walk out the door with non-carbon brake pads on my race wheels and didn't include all the parts for the cover for the fuel holder on the stem. It kept flying off during my first ride. I had to use rubber bands to tie it down to get through the ride. I returned the bike for more changes to the fit. Kosark never gave me a true fit of the bike. He measured my 2011 Specialized Transition instead of putting me on the FELT IA-14 for a true fit. He never did get it right before all the careless assembly started to surface. It started with the four flats I received after every ten miles because he installed incompatible brake carriers. He said he "was trying to save me money." The brake carrier was put in the wrong hole, causing the brake pad to rub directly on the tire. I took the bike to Trek Bike Store in Omaha and mechanics found the problem on the rear brake carriers. When I initially told Kosark about the flats before Trek discovered the error, in a condescending tone, he told me I was "unlucky" in flats and gave me "tips" on how not to get a flat. When I called him again to explain what Trek found, he didn't take any responsibility and never apologized. I took the bike to Bike Masters in Omaha, where mechanics found a slew of problems, that put me on an unsafe bike and dangerous situation. The front cables had the underneath wires exposed. Kosark told me the defective cables came that way from Felt, so he installed them anyway. It appeared as though someone took wire cutters to them. Bike Masters also found the cables were installed backwards, the bottom bracket was loose and a washer was missing from a pedal. I am beyond grateful for Bike Masters finding all these problems. Had I crashed and been hurt, we probably wouldn't have known about the negligent and careless manner Joyride assembled this bike. When I brought all of the problems to the attention of Kosark, he dismissed it as no big deal. He took zero responsibility and never apologized. HORRIBLE customer service. He suggested he reimburse me for the bike, minus 400 dollars. He caused me undue stress because of his sloppy and frankly, reckless work. I could have been riding my new sleek, fast IA-14 Felt the entire season. I didn't want him to make the needed changes because I don't feel safe getting on any bike he touches. When I informed FELT how a dealer was handling the product, they got him to fully reimburse me. There are plenty of reputable, caring bike shops in the Omaha-metro area... stay far away from Joyride and David Kosark.

I would rate them less if I could. They are a listed distributor of Day 6 but I had to order the bike as a custom bike. When I ordered it the employee said they would order the small and large so I could see which fit better. I paid approximately $1400 for a bike that could hold my weight. It took months to get and when I got it, they only had the small and I wasn't used to biking so chucked the uncomfortable feelings to that. After 2 months of riding, it was worse than before. I called multiple times inquiring about the large Samson bike and was told the parts were wrong and they couldn't build it, then the wrong parts came in and that the would contact me once it was ready. I finally called and was told that it's just sitting on the floor to be sold. To anyone looking to get a bike, do not go to Joyride Bikes...they are no nothing of treating customers with respect. When I asked for a partial refund, I was told no, that the doesn't want a small version of the bike...I would have ordered the large if I had known he would screw me out of choosing which I wanted. I feel conned... $1400 down the drain...
