I had 2 bikes packed up for shipping. I was told $50 a bike on the phone and then when my dad went to pick them up they charged him $65. When I called to ask about teh difference in price, he told me that his price list said $65 and he didn't know who I talked to on the phone.

Right before I had called their Midtown location and they told me $50 on the phone. Pretty shady if you ask me. I'd steer clear or at least get the price in writing before they do any work for you.

Do Not do business with Olympia Cycle
I took my bike there to get a derailer adjusted quoted at $20. The guy talked me into a tune up $80, I agreed and left the bike. The guy mentioned replacing the chain, I told him I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the additional money. He twice said he would call before doing the additional work. He failed to do so. I tried to compromise and pay for the chain, I did not authorize, I just did not want to pay for the additional labor charges. He told me he was taking off the old chain to soak in oil as part of the Tune Up so I was confused as to the additional labor charge. I felt him becoming agitated, aggressive and irate. We could not settle the disagreement so he called the police. In the end I did paying for everything.  The only reason they received 1 Star is that was the minimum I was allowed to share this information.

Best bike shop in town!  They NEVER try to sell you something you don't need. They are friendly, helpful and will do anything they can to get you into the right bike for your need. Just got our 3rd bike in a year here. Won't go anywhere else. 

Service department is great too!  And free service on your bike for a whole year (they even encourage tune ups as much as you need that first year). This crew is passionate and people getting onto quality bikes and enjoying them! Thanks again, Olympia!

Don't let the building fool you - even though it looks like a haunted house.
Great place with down home atmosphere.
I've had them take care of a number of repairs and they always come through.    Awesome and professional personnel.

I've purchased my bike thru them and had this one and older ones repaired.  So - sales and service - top notch.
