I have so many memories of coming to this place as a kid. From apple picking to pow-wows and panning for gold, I LOVE IT. It's almost like you've entered a different world coming to Julian. Such a cute small town with such homely people. 

Everytime I come to Julian I eat at the Julian Cafe. It's like being home in Grandmas house with a warm home cooked meal. And don't even get me started on the pies. Put it this way, you'll be begging for another slice. My personal favorite, the Apple - Pumpkin Pie.

Fantastic. The apple pie is of course amazing. But the cider is the best I've ever had in my life. I didn't know apple cider could be so rich. The staff was friendly and the food was really good. The caramel apples were also really delicious-- easy to eat unlike many caramel apples with hard caramel on the outside.

Our go-to restaurant when we are in Julian!! Worth the wait, too!! The ambiance, food helpings, friendly service, boot-shaped drinking glasses, & God's Word blesses our soul every time!

Amazing comfort food! Tasty and large portions. The chicken pie turnover, fried chicken, fish and chips, veggie burger and kids meal corn dog were all very good. The side of veggies are nicely grilled and the side of fruit was a large size and freshly cut. 
The down side is it's a very small cafe, strollers often won't fit. There's a long wait outside, plus once seated and given drinks, we waited about half an hour before being able to order our food. 
Both times we bought a full pie to go. The Apple Caramel Pie, and the Pumpkin Apple Pie we're both delicious! Hope to visit again.

The hype is much better than the dessert. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great. The apple crisp is way too sweet. The cinnamon roll is extremely dry. The hot chocolate is pretty good. The boysenberry apple pie is really good.
