A unique backwoods type restaurant with lots of wild game mounts on the walls. There were some interesting menu items like quail that you probably won't find elsewhere. The food was ok, nothing super special but I would eat it again. They serve coleslaw, beans, and hush puppies like a Mexican restaurant servers chips and salsa. That was a pleasant surprise. The staff was very friendly.

You won't leave here hungry. Plenty of food for the price. All you can eat deals every say. Huge selection of food. Something for everyone. Great outdoors decor. Lots of nice taxidermy mounts.

We drive from Shawnee to eat at Jumpin' Catfish because it's one of our favorites. It's hard to find from the street but worth the drive. We have never had a bad server. They will bring out family-style bowls of white beans and coleslaw plus hush puppies before we even order. They have several wild-game type items on their menu in addition to fish and frog legs that aren't found in many other restaurants. There is a nice area for special parties, too. The decor makes it homey and pleasant to dine there.

Decent food. A little pricy. Good sides and quantity there... pretty good service overall. Not really too much to complain about.

Over cooked. Our party of four laughed at our own selves for choosing such a lousy place to eat. Salmon I had had zero flavor. Friend ordered lobster when he took it out of the shell it stood up like a crisp piece of bacon. The guys who orded fried fish said it had too much corn meal and again zero flavor. Do not waste your money.
