I have been taking my cats to Dr. Jan for over 17 years.  She is the warmest, most empathetic person.  I trust her implicitly and she has never let me down.  Her staff is knowledgeable and super caring. I couldn't imagine not having her as my vet. She is a gem and I am so lucky to have found her.

I was surprised at some of the reviews here and am compelled to write.  Dr. Jan and her staff treated two of my cats when I lived in. NJ.  My Molly was deemed one of her more difficult but yet Molly received all the TLC she would allow - and many times she didn’t allow much.  But to Dr. Jan’s credit and her staff (special shout out to Bernice) Molly was treated exceptionally well right to the end.  My Max I adopted from Dr. Jan and for all his 12 years he was under her care.  We all were broken-hearted and shared many tears when Molly and then Max left us.  I’m now relocated out of NJ with a New cat and a new vet but I will always be grateful and remember the care, support and friendship at Just Cats.

It was a f***en horror show..Every vet I ever went too I was allowed to hold my cat..This place they have this manly woman grab your cat..She starts going to cut his nails..NOT EVEN ASKING..I told her no..Than she grabs a towel no expression at all and holds my 12 pound cat barely with one of her man hands while she tries to wrap a towel around him. My cat at this time is terrified..I ask please can i just hold him..Vet says No so you can sue us if he hurts you..Hes my cat why would sue??? No compassion what so ever..Than to top it off i called to ask before  I even made appointment Do they take care credit they said Yes..well Guess what?. They Don't..I really thought since cats only go there it would be wonderful ..It was hell..

I had a horrible experience with this vet! Mainly, the woman at the front desk, Cindy. Awful attitude problem and zero customer service skills. However, during my appointment I pointedly asked the vet the most important shots my kitten needed. She never gave a straight answer and proceeded to give her a shot for feline leukemia, which when I checked out, realized is VERY expensive. I pointed to a line item invoice on the desk and and asked Cindy if I was being charged for the vet checking my cats teeth. I got nothing but wrath and an ice cold look. I told her I would like a print out of what I am being charged for and she said in THE MOST derogatory tone, "we always do that!"  She did not go over the invoice at all. Her entire demeanor and attitude toward customers is a complete turn off and energy suck. I told her she was very rude and asked for her name. Funny, because she wouldn't tell me until I told her I wasn't leaving until she did. Aside from that, the office is disorganized and messy! Never going back!

Taking care of a cat is science, your personal beliefs don’t matter to me. Use logic and help us out. And pre paying for something that hasn’t happened yet is a scam.
