Just left this store.  Their manager, Allison, blatantly accused me of shoplifting.  While I was shopping I noticed her watching me like a hawk and asked me repeatedly if I wanted to put some things at the register while I shopped.  I responded I was still deciding.  I was shopping for a charity for gifts for a girl I'd never met.  I still wasn't 100% sure on the items I had so I asked her to put them on hold.  She replied "Is that all you have?" I said yes.  She said " Are you sure? I saw you with some other things" in an accusatory tone.  To which I asked if she was accusing me of anything, she can feel free to check me and showed her where I had returned the items she says she saw me with.  I asked for her manager and she replied she doesn't have one.  I will not return and I plan to file my complaint with the appropriate people.  I have worked retail so I understand people steal but you do not accuse people of stealing without basis or an apology once you have been proven wrong.  I made my purchases elsewhere.  There are plenty other children's stores at Tanger, shop there instead.
