Founded by Stephen Katchmark in 1988, Katchmark Construction has served the Mid-Atlantic region as a commercial and residential roofing company for more than 27 years and has thousands of satisfied customers. Katchmark Construction is now ranked 44th in the Nation of the Top 100 Roofing Contractors*. While there are numerous roofing companies in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC, we know that if we didn’t do our job the right way every time, we wouldn’t become the contractor of choice. I am surprised to see 1 stars given for this company as my experience was completely opposite. From start to finish they were responsive, professional and kind, which will win my business any day.  The workmanship was great, and if there was an issue, like my shutters being the wrong size, they were up front, and took care of the issue immediately. I have referred them to several people and thus far the feedback has only been positive. I suspect if I had any concerns down the road with my roof or any of the work they’ve done they would take care of it timely... I am confident of that.

I recently used Katchmark to replace the siding and do some roof repairs on my 19939 home in Arlington. I suppose I could be considered a "difficult homeowner" as I care about the quality of work performed and was on-site for the whole project. The work was done professionally. The crew very considerate of any requests I made and adapted to some last minute changes that really made the job complete. I was impressed with the level of supervision, both on-site and the Project Supervisor who dropped by several times during the project. Last, and just as important, was the complete fit of all components of the project and the wonderful effort with clean up. I have already discussed another project with Katchmark and look forward to another success.

My Katchmark experience was fantastic. They came in with completive pricing and the workmanship was outstanding. Katchmark management responded to all my calls. The installers kept my yard neat. After cleanup, I did not see any nail!  I will have them back in the spring for new windows! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of working with Katchmark to repair my roof after a hail storm. Setting up an appt was easy and the rep met me on time and explained the entire process in detail. He helped me select the correct roof shingles and even met with my insurance company. Overall a great experience and quality work. They even scheduled to roof repair while I was on vacation!!

Katchmark replaced my roof and my parents roof last year. The staff is extremely professional. Their workers took the necessary precautions to make sure our AC units were protected and they cleaned up after completion. No trash or nails left in the yard or gutters. Great company.
