Whenever I have visited a Kay Jewelers I have always had a good experience. I recently visited the Westshore store where I had the pleasure of being helped by Savannah oh my goodness she was absolutely AWESOME!!!! Thanks for taking my experience from good to AWESOME!

My boyfriend bought me a pair of earings a year ago. The backs of the earings unfortunately were defective and kept on coming loose. I went back to the store to get new earring backs. She told me since the purchase was not within 6 months I would have to buy new ones. I then bought new earring backs. Also she told me by purchasing new earring backs I would have 6 months warranty if the backs become lost or were defective. So what do You know the backs became loose and they fell of my ear and I lost them. So I needed to replace them. I went back to kay jeweler and told them the back of the earings needed to be replaced and were within 6 months of purchase. I told them the story of what the previous sales representative told me and that they needed to be replaced. The representative told me she would not replace them even though I was told by a sales rep at the same store they could be replaced if lost or damaged. She would not honor what was told to me from another representative. I even said if I brought back the receipt and confirm what sales rep told me would they honor what she said. The sales rep said no that it did not matter. I know the backs were only 15 bucks, but this is what was promised to me as a customer. From a customer service point of view this is just ridiculous. I wouldn't of bought the back of the earings if I knew the warranty of 6 months was not covered. Unfortunately from this experience I cannot shop at Kay jewelers. They do not keep their word or honor what they promise there customers. What if this was a engagement ring??? A diamond store could not cover a back of a earring??? So disappointed as a customer. More importantly they were more worried about closing their store then helping out a customer. I will never go back to Kay Jewelers. Especially the store located in Tampa Florida at west chase mall.
