What a perfect Gem of a place! Food and service are so so fine. Definitely going back for more. Yummy. Another tidbit the place was packed and we only waited 3 minutes to be seated, best service I have ever experienced. Parking: Place was extremely busy but because of their fast service parking and eating happened very quickly Wheelchair accessibility: Yes you can.
A very cute place to have breakfast. The food was good. When the food first came out, the home fries looked plain, but they were surprisingly flavorful. My husband got a breakfast with the breakfast sausage and they were larger than the typical size breakfast sausage. They were good.Food: 4/5
This restaurant is amazing. Super kind, friendly and welcoming staff. The quality of the food is unmatched for the price that you pay. Kelly’s offers a wide variety of food options and sells alcoholic beverages as well. My family and I go every Thursday for $5 burger night. For $5 what you get is unbelievable, a plate with a fat juicy patty with every topping under the sun including eggs and bacon, a cool and creamy slice of cheese on a perfectly toasted bun all cooked to perfection with a toothpick down the middle to hold it together in all of its glory. When I say this is must try food, I mean this is MUST TRY FOOD!
I went there for breakfast a few times. I found their portion is rather big. Look at that pancake in the photo. Today, I decided to try their lunch on my way home. Since the closure of another location, I feel like they have transitioned to a diner. The Reuben is delicious. I wish it could be a little bit tender. I guess adding melted cheese slightly overcooked the sandwich. I highly recommend Kelly's place and will come back again. By the way, due to the economic situation, expect service charge if swiping credit card. Kid-friendliness: They offer little one's menu too.
Nice restaurant with delicious food and good service. Plan to go back.Food: 5/5
Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel and activity inspiration. Follow me for more! I’m a financial planner - CFP®practitioner - with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare® Overall, this is a great place to grab breakfast. Good food, easy access off 495, bright and clean interior with lots of light. It’s appropriate for all ages. What’s keeping from giving it 5 stars is that I didn’t really find anything unique about the menu. They have some limited gluten free options which I very much appreciated and the food was good, but I’d didn’t get a wow from it. That said, it would make for an excellent regular place to eat with more frequency. I also found the parking to be a bit limited given how busy it got in the morning, and this was a midweek morning. Can’t imagine it in a weekend. Lastly, the layout may not lend itself to people with mobility needs like a wheelchair or walker. It’s a bit cramped in there. Though, there’s a side door, so maybe they could accommodate with some notice. I think this is an excellent place for locals to have them on regular rotation!
There was a good amount of people for a Holiday weekend but was able to find a table promptly. Server was very kind and friendly, I really didn’t wait more than a few minutes before she came over to my table and ask for my drink order. I order a cup of coffee and a large grapefruit juice and steak tips Benedict. The eggs were a bit over done but the steak was perfectly cooked and had a great flavor. The home-fries perfectly seasoned and overall the dish was really good, the portion is generous so I had leftovers to take home. I also had ordered a New Englander waffle but I had to take it to go since I was very satisfied. I ordered steak tips and blueberry pancakes for my daughter to go, the pancakes had a good amount of blueberries and they were very fluffy; the tips were modicum rare this was a pleasant surprise considering most breakfast places over cooked the tips, needless to say that she was very pleased and so was I. The only thing I didn’t appreciate is how rude some costumers were to servers; no person deserves that regardless of what they do for a living, entitlement is despicable, but in the end, people can’t give kindness they don’t have. Other than that, the place is very worth the try!
We went here for the first time and sat outside. The hostess was blah, no personality! Out waitress brought coffee took our order and never came back! The hostess brought out our food and we had to ask for syrup, she seemed frustrated that she had to get it. We had to ask for the check to be taken and she never came back with it. I had to go inside and then was told I had to go to the other register where no one was to found and then the hostess brought it over to me when she was the one that said to go to the other register! We both had French toast and was very dry, the scrambled eggs where not mixed very well whites very present. Overall not very good! Too bad because it is a very cute place and we had high hopes with the reviews. I would not recommend this place!
Food is ok, the last 2 times I ordered there were missing items and incorrectly made. They do not include your french toast toppings even after you pay extra, expect to have to drive back if you don’t check. The home fries are undercooked and way too thick. If you order it well done it won’t be any different. If you order a cinnamon raisin bagel they will give you a regular one. If you ask for an over easy egg on your sandwich they will tell you “we only make it one way on the sandwich” which is over hard. The poached egg will be overcooked. Expect to have to fully check your order while in the restaurant or before you leave the parking lot. For the higher price point of eating here, better service and quality checks are expected. Especially when you’re paying closer to $70 for breakfast for 3 people.
Updated Review: As often happens with successful restaurants, this place became complacent and lazy. My rating had been updated to two stars. Main reason for the lowered rating are service or lack there of from the ‘server’ as well as cleanliness. We killed several flies while sitting at our tables that were quickly replaced by new batch of flies. Our server showed up to our table 2 times, once to take the order for drinks and food this took 15 minutes after we sat down and another time to ask me if I wanted more coffee half way through the meal. She never came back with that coffee. The food was delivered by a bus boy and I had to get the check myself to the older lady that seemed to be in charge. Where was my waiter you ask? She was texting in the waiter station and talking to other waiters. Granted, this experience could be limited to the waitress with pink hair, but this is the second visit in a row with subpar service. I gave another chance since we were in the area. I deeply regretted this decision as I really wanted coffee - my cup was dry after less than 5 minutes and stayed dry for the rest of our breakfast. The food wasn’t bad, my lox skillet was pretty good and my daughters french toast was decent. However, bacon was hard, yet somehow not crispy. Pretty sure chef Mike made it microwave. Anyway, between a waitress that spends her time texting and chatting instead of checking on her tables and flies I recommend you get your breakfast elsewhere. This place is out of chances with this Google Guide. Original Review: Location: easy to get to. Parking can be tough if you go during busy hours as the lot is insufficient for the business. Menu: great choices on the menu. Good presentation of food and quality of ingredients is well above average. Customer service: pretty good based on one visit. They were accommodating and came by to refill the coffee fairly regularly. Everyone was busy and they kept things moving. Price: based on quality of our food, the price is very good! Overall: My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, we will return again to try more things as we were very happy with everything we tried so far. Final Grade: A+
