I went to this Kendra Scott location On my final day in Chicago.  This was only the second time I've been to a Kendra Scott store and this was the best experience I've ever had.  The first experience was in my home state and wasn't near as awesome as this.  The staff was VERY friendly, even offered Champagne and cupcakes as soon as we walked in, which I thought was awesome. 

I hadn't purchased anything from Kendra Scott before so I wasn't sure how things worked.  I want to give a huge shout out to the Area Manager, Kara Love, because it was her that made my experience at this store absolutely amazing. There was a certain necklace that I wanted and couldn't find so I asked the employee (who was Kara) at the design bar, how the design bar worked.  After discussing, and showing me, I explained the necklace that I wanted.  Unfortunately this location didn't have the chain I wanted, so Kara gave me my options: 1) the north store, 2) back home, or 3) order online and have it shipped.  I opted to have it shipped.  Kara was having a few difficulties with the computer and she went back behind the design bar and stated she could remove and replace the stone in one of the chains already made.  I said yes to that option and was able to go home with my necklace.  

I didn't tell her in the store, but this necklace is so important to me bc it's the birthstone of my baby mule that I lost very unexpectedly 1.5 months ago.  The chain color was the color of her coat (black).  Kara went above, beyond, and out of her way to take care of me!  Thank you Kara, you're incredible!

I agree with the previous review that the customer service is not the best at this Kendra Scott location and they are not clear on their return/exchange policy. 

My boyfriend and I went to their store to exchange a $250 bracelet and despite that we walked out with two other pieces, they refused to give us the remaining of the money back. Instead, they gave us a store gift card and told us that this is their policy and it is listed on the receipt. When my boyfriend made the initial purchase he was not informed by the sales associate about the return policy  (realistically, how many people out there actually sit down and read their recipts front to back?!)

I strongly believe that as customers we should have the right to decide how/when/where we want to spend our money and it is outrageous to see that Kendra Scott stores take that away from people. It is not right; and I believe this only reflects on how driven for sales the brand is and how little respect they have for their customers. They definitly need to start prioritizing the customer experience and satisfaction.

I am not certain I will return to make a purcahse from Kendra Scott and I would really like my money back.
