Double the wait time we were told. Understandable because of the unexpected nature of restaurants, however somehow we magically kept getting pushed further and further down the list. When I asked why parties of the same size were being seated before us when we got there before them I was simply told I was next on the list. The host staff, with the exception of 1, was very rude and clip. We were called to stand in the "on deck" area when there was already 10 people standing in the small space. When we asked what we were supposed to do since it was full and we were pretty sure we had already gotten skipped once, a young man with a nose piercing bit my father's head off. I understand Kerbey Lane is a busy place and it can get a lil crazy, but that doesn't excuse being rude to your customers. Thankfully the food was good and the waitress was great. However that didn't excuse the ridiculously long wait. Very unlikely we will return.

This is my favorite location of Kerbey. The location is super cute and the food seems to be slightly higher quality here. I love the seasonal pancakes and French toast. The breakfast items are greasy and perfect for a late breakfast. There are a few healthier options as well. I love that they offer gluten free pancakes as well as my family has some members with celiacs.

Kerbey Lane is one of my favorite places to eat. Their Greek chicken is one of the best pieces of chicken I have ever had. Tootie's Apple Pie is amazing and probably the best piece of pie I have ever had. The parking is great and they are open 24 hours. The staff is always very nice and on time. They never forget anything in our to go order and have the best pancakes in Austin. The only reason they are getting 4 stars is their veggie burger, which has the dumbest name ever "hipster burger". Why would you call it a hipster burger? Seriously? They keep changing it to. It used to be the best veggie burger in Austin and recently they have had two or 3 new ones and they are disgusting. It's really disappointing and sad, they've lost a lot of business from us because of that alone.

This was my first Kerbeys Lane experience when I moved here in Austin. I love this location because of its unique atmosphere. It's also the original one, to my knowledge. Food is always great and staff is always nice. Be prepared to wait though, this location gets very busy!

Great place to take the family. Local flair. Seated quickly. Great service; menu with something for everyone. Wholesome food prepared nicely.
