Kerrville Municipal Airport has the friendliest, most attentive staff.  This is a great airport  to learn to fly.  EXCELLENT INSTRUCTORS.
Close to hunting ranches and Comanche Trace Golf Course.  
And Robert Earl Keen loves it so much, he wrote a song about it.

One of the best GA airports I have ever been to.  Very attentive staff, new FBO, fuel prices a little high but reasonable.  What more could you ask for?
